By submitting my story to Mark Saunders (the “Grantee”) for consideration to be included in Grantee’s compilation project (the “Project”), I hereby agree as follows:

1. I represent and warrant that the story I am submitting (the “Story”): (a) is being submitted in my own words, (b) is based on personal experiences, (c) is an original work created by me, (d) is a true and accurate description of actual events, (e) does not violate any obligations I have to third parties, (f) does not infringe on the rights of others, (g) does not contain any confidential information. I represent and warrant that I have the right to submit the Story to Grantee for consideration for inclusion in the Project, and that the Story has not, prior to submission to Grantee, been published or accepted for publication in any medium.
2. I understand that submission of the Story does not guarantee that it will be selected for the Project. I understand that if the Story is selected, I will not receive any compensation for the inclusion of the Story in the Project.
3. I give permission for the Story to be reprinted, retold, reenacted, and modified if selected to be part of the Project. I understand and agree that names, dates, and other identifying features or details of the Story may be changed by the Grantee in its sole discretion if it is to be included in the Project. I hereby grant an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty free, non-exclusive license to the Grantee to use, reprint, retell, reenact, and make derivative works (as that right is described in the United States Copyright law) of the Story, all in connection with its use in the Project.
4. I agree to reasonably cooperate with the Grantee in connection with the reprinting, retelling, reenactment, or modification of the Story, and to execute such additional documents as may be necessary to effectuate the intent of this agreement.
5. I agree that the Grantee may seek copyright or other protection for the compilation of stories, which may or may not include the Story, that comprise the Project.
6. I agree that the Grantee shall have the right to assign its rights under this agreement to third parties (including, without limitation, publishers, movie producers, or television networks) without my prior consent.
7. I agree that the Grantee has the right to reprint, retell, or modify the Story without providing credit or attribution to me in any way; although I understand that the Grantee may elect to do so and in such case, I agree that my name will be printed and publicized in connection with the Story.
I agree that my electronic signature hereto is adopted by me and shall be deemed to be an original signature, binding upon me as if I had physically signed this agreement. I agree to conduct transactions related to my Story with Grantee by electronic means. I understand I may revoke my consent to conduct transactions related to my Story electronically in the future (although such revocation shall not affect prior transactions) by providing written notice of my revocation by U.S. Mail, with delivery confirmed (or other nationally recognized delivery service that confirms delivery)
